Please join us for the 2024 Pint of Science Festival! This is an annual global event, begun in 2013, that will take place all over the world from May 13-15, starting at 6:30 p.m. In the United States, the event will be held in Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston and New Haven.
The Pint of Science Festival incudes several scientists from Yale who will be having casual conversations at local pubs with the general public, with the intent to bring science to the community who may not otherwise have access to it. The themes for each of the days are below:
May 13 at Trinity Bar: Nature Scales: From Plants to Cells to DNA
May 14 at The Cannon: Smashing Atoms: Understanding the Strong Force
May 15 at Trinity Bar: Decisions, Art, and the Mind’s Canvas

Pint of Science is a non-profit organisation that brings some of the most brilliant scientists to a local bar or cafe to discuss their latest research and findings with you. The first festival was held in May 2013 in just three cities. It quickly took off around the world and is now in around more than 500 cities each May, full locations here.
