Event description:
Time-resolved ARPES (TR-ARPES) endstation at the Advanced Laser Light Source (ALLS)
In this talk I will present and discuss the unique working parameters of the time- and angle-resolved photoemission (TR-ARPES) endstation at the Advanced Laser Light Source (ALLS) user facility. In particular, I will discuss the emergence of an exciton-like feature in p-doped topological insulators, as well as show how the light-induced quench of the superconducting condensate leads to the emergence of an asymmetric spectral weight in the near-antinodal region of Bi-based cuprates. Finally, I will briefly discuss our current endeavours to develop a new ARPES-based technique to extract the two-particle correlation function in solids.
