Event description:
Matrix and tensor models with O(N) symmetry offer a surprise on analytic continuation in N: the existence of Hopf bifurcations and limit cycles in the RG flow. In models with O(N_1) times O(N_2) symmetry, yet more exotic possibilities are possible: homoclinic RG orbits and chaos. In this talk, I will present an overview of these phenomena and present a number of examples.
