Title: Hadronic light-by-light scattering in the muon g-2
Abstract: “After a brief overview of the current status of the theory
of the muon g-2, we discuss some recent developments for the hadronic
light-by-light scattering contribution. A first approach uses
dispersion relations to obtain, eventually, a data-driven,
model-independent estimate for the numerically dominant
pseudoscalar-pole and the pion-loop contributions. The second method
is lattice QCD, where in the last few years some promising approaches
have been developed and first interesting results have been obtained
on the way for a first-principle estimate with controlled
uncertainties.”
