Welcome to Gaurav Nirala who comes to us from the University of Oklahoma where he recently received his Ph.D. in physics. He is a postdoctoral associate, and a member of Wright Lab, working with Jack Harris.
His research focuses on experimental Quantum Optics and Optomechanics. He has extensive research experience in quantum optics focusing on entanglement and spatial correlations.
Gaurav was born and raised in Northern India (Rajasthan). Completed BS+MS at NISER, Bhubaneswar before moving to the US to pursue a research career. He plans to continue in academia
