On November 10, the physics department held its annual Undergraduate Research Fair. The fair was created in 2014 to help undergraduate physics majors and prospective majors connect with faculty for research opportunities and to fulfill the requirements for the major.
The event includes brief introductions to the wide range of research opportunities available in the department, given by each faculty member who has available opportunities, or a member of their research group.
Daphne Klemme, undergraduate registrar in physics said, “This year there was a fantastic turnout, with a good mixture of undergraduate and graduate students along with faculty.”
