My previous experience involves characterizing extrasolar planetary systems and circumstellar disks with spectropolarimetry.
My current research interests lie in the instrumentation and computational work for dark matter searches and cosmological modeling. Topics include exploring physics-informed machine learning methods for astrophysical fluid dynamics, modeling the morphology of AGN accretion discs with convolutional neural networks, and developing Rydberg-atom-based single-photon detector in searching for WIMPs and axions.
I LOVE to take naps. Power naps, recovery naps, coffee naps. When I’m not solving physics problems, you can find me napping in the Good Life Center Nap Room. Or, I may be swimming, singing in chorales, listening to Jpop, or gone for random roadtrips.
